Looks like the answer is that yes, it can be done, but at twice the price of ordering it when the car is being built.

I do agree that the ability to use Waze would make this a moot point.

Anyone actually do this for $1k? I want the speed Limit on the HUD and speedo. I understand its not the best option for navigation.

Lots actually but you need the nav upgrade and custom cluster programming to enable the speed limit display. Would be less than $1K though.
