It'd be cool (competition is always a good thing), but on a dated and heavy platform? Also, the article says it would be a 2023 Challenger, but the 50th Anniversary would be during the 2020 MY. I can't see them building something like that in a year's time ... would be a nice surprise though. I'd imagine it would be priced well above the ZL1 1LE as well.

Given the platform and its age, this is fantastical to say the least...
That said, the Mopar boys will surely latch onto the idea of Dodge trying to address the main weakness afflicting its biggest margin maker. If they could do it at this point in the cars age, it would truly be blood from a stone. |

I'm all for competition but I just don't see how this will be possible or achieved in any meaningful way without it carrying a huge price tag.

It will need 900hp and a more modern suspension.

LX platform is on a wishbone suspension we are on a modified Macpherson strut?
One of them is modern or better stated desirable one is ,in my opinion not.

With no camber adjustability front or rear the LC/LX platform is not something I would want to take on a road course at speed.

They have come a long way with the wide body set ups but between the weight and the suspension set up its asking a lot

The only thing going for it is misusing the ACR badge.

I don't see how they can make a competitive ACR to compete with the ZL1 with the current chassis?? I figured that would be a whole new from the ground up vehicle...hope it happens.

Cambers minor adjustable you dont need to run -5 degrees to make the suspension work like our cars. Adjustable arms are like under 200 bucks. C8 wishbone front and rear better get hating.

But the C8 will have suspension adjustment so what is your point?
