Location of ABS wire harness.

I want to make sure the dealer performed this recall (like they say they did).

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/attac...0&d=1540309056

My car is covered and put away till spring. I want to make sure I check this first thing before I take it out again.

The instructions on the recall for finding the harness are a bit vague. Can one of you guys elaborate on that.

Although I’m sure if I stare at my engine bay long enough I’ll find it, It doesn’t hurt to ask you guys.

Thank you.

The bulletin for the ABS wire harness (the one I’m asking about) was issued before I bought the car. The dealer assured me it had already been done when they first got the car from GM.

I’d like to verify that it was done.

The pictures in the bulletin tell the story IMO, but the module in question is in the rear/passenger side of the engine bay. The recall is simply adding a plastic retainer zip tie clip thing to the stud that mounts the module bracket, and installing some extra plastic loom. It’s supposed to prevent the wiring from rubbing on metal parts.

I agree with you that the pictures in the bulletin will probably make more sense once I am able to take a look at the engine bay when the car comes out of hibernation.

That big red cable (I’m assuming it’s the cable that runs to the battery) should be easy to spot.

Thank you for giving me an idea of where to look.
