I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have any updates on this?

Update: I don't notice the noise after the break in period.

IIRC, the A10 transmission has straight gears driving the fluid pump, which make a little noise.

At 2.5 years and 8k miles, I don't notice it anymore... so maybe it's faded over time as the gears wear in a bit more, or I got just used to it.

Mine has a slight whine at idle and have started to notice a different type noise while it’s running besides the noticeable whine on acceleration. Keeping tabs on it and no CELs yet. I’m thinking it might be the engine and supercharger are breaking in at almost 10,000 miles and the whine will be more noticeable now!

I'll get a clip next time I start the car, it wasn't really a little noise, it was full on like wtf is happening to my car.

it did quite down a lot after a couple minutes of running, and the car had been sitting for a couple months in storage, but still.. it was like nothing I've ever heard.

Just grabbed a 2023 ZL1 and wondered what the sound was coming
From under the car, unrelated to the blower. Guess I found it! Nothing serious it seems.
