Proper tires for 18" rims

I was looking at the sticky post for recommended tire sizes, but I am having a hard time finding a drag radial that will fit the 18x9.5 rim that I have. Can anyone tell me what a good tire size would be for these 18x9.5 rims? I was leaning toward the Nitto NT05R 295/45R18. but with those being outside of the recommendation I am not sure about them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, apparently I was looking at the NT05, and not the NT05R, it looks like the NT05R come in 295/45ZR18 and P285/40R-18 93Z BLK. Does anyone know if the 305's will work correctly with the 18x9.5 rims?

Yes, the Nitto Drag Radials (both NT05R and NT555R) 305/45R18 will fit on a 9.5" wheel. And so will the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II (305/45R18). And so will the M&H Race Master (275/45R18). You've got lot's of choices in Drag Radials.....just no slicks!!!

Thanks, I put in my order for the 305/45 gonna set me back, $570 mounted and balanced out the door. Does that sounds reasonable?

For now just the stock tires. Next season I plan to get some new ones. Not sure what yet though.

I'm running 245/45 18 (26 1/2" tall) up front, 295/40 18 Falken Azenis RT-615-K (27" tall) for my street rears and 315/40 18 Nitto NT05R (28" tall) Drag Radials at the track.
I LOVE the shorter tires! car feels so much more responsive.
