I run 19x10.5 at 305/30/19 squared no problem

Apex has 18s that fit SLE brakes according their guide.

I was thinking 315/30/18 square. Was considering the Falken 660s but pricing is much higher vs 305/19 for some reason so I'll prolly go with A052s.

you looking at the Apex wheels? I run the EC-7 +22, I do run the spacer up front with stock size studs.... Now I don't recommend running with the stock studs but it is possible. Idk if it really matters as the tire choices you are looking at are a bit more sticky than what I run but I'm on the Hankook RS4, seemed to be the longest life option for the 200tw category

i looked at apex and also at volk racing and also hre wheels altho they dont offer a 19" wheel in the flowform line

i was told for 19x10.5 et 22 i would need spacer and extended lugs in front

you forsure need the spacer cant remember if it's 2mm or 3mm.... the extended lugs are not required but HIGHLY recommended. I did 4 track days and a few autoX's with no issues, although I made sure to take the TRQ wrench to the lugs after every session. (I am testing my luck with not running extended lugs).

I thought I read somewhere we can use truck studs as a cheap alternative to the ARP studs. I have no idea if this is true though.

I measured that you can use up to 5mm spacers up front, at least on my SLE.

I needed 7mm for my winter wheel setup so I installed 1" longer ARP studs, if you cut the nose off you can also fit the stock setup w/ closed-end lug nuts.

The 315s aren't that much more $...

295/35 are a little closer to OEM diameter, but not sure if that matters much if all 4 are the same diameter.

I agree 18s or 19s depends on which tire you want to run. I've been running 19x10.5 ET22 305 true square all year with the G3Rs. It's great to be able to rotate to all 4 corners.

Longer studs in the front are required even with a 5mm spacer in my view of what's safe for min thread engagement. The front studs are a breeze and you don't have to take off the rotors etc.
