you can run all pressure sensors or none...

Right, so with all sensors disabled, the computer will ignore tire pressures and allow me to d/c the stability control, correct?

I would think so. When I put on my Z/28 rims and rubber, for some reason the TPMS sensors would not sync up. I didn’t want them pulling the tires back off and told them to leave it alone and I would live with checking tire pressures manually. Even with no sensors reading I have been able to shut of T/C and S/C.
I’m assuming I am doing it right as both lights come on. I’ve done this several times too.

I have a 2019 ZLE and had trouble deactivating stability control when trying to do an autocross event. I was eventually able to completely deactivate it and my memory is that I first went into race mode and then pressed the traction control button for 5-10 seconds which then shut everything off. Good luck!

This seems to work effectively on my car. In fact, if memory serves, it seems to just override ESC until you turn it back on. I think it even allows you to switch between modes - even Touring.

And it wouldn't be a surprise if it was a CA-thing, HA.
