Cool to read about how everyone makes their's unique, that's the fun part!

Everyone has their reason, this was mine.
nice to see another ZL1 vert .. 6th gen ZL1 verts are a rare breed

What about a green filter into the stock box? Or no point?

A 10rwhp/5rwhp gain is not worth it to me.

E. Will not cause problems with Dealer or warranty.

if you're seeking significant gains, an intake will not do much for you.
10rhp is about all you're going to get, if that.

K&N has shown to be less efficient than the stock intake itself...
the stock intake is actually better than people think.

any kind of add on in most dealers eyes will void your warranty.

many people on here have gotten service denied due to having one.
your best bet is to remove it and put the stock one on if you have to bring it in if that is your concern.

rotofab dry is what a majority of people go with when they're seeking large amounts of power.

I've got a drop-in green filter. I think there's an ever so slight improvement in throttle response.

At $53 from Summit Racing, it won't break the bank to give it a try.

Was fortunate to be a test vehicle for a 5" intake tested for the ZL1. Normally used for a Caddy CTSV. Cordes Performance Racing. No official results intake alone because it was used in combination with other mods but I love the beefy looks. Upgraded from a K&N.

I bet the metal portion of that intake tube gets red hot after a drive. Heck, the plastic tubing on the Roto-Fab 5th gen ZL1 intake was too hot to touch following a drive.

Say what you will about the stock intake, but the material the tubing is made from doesn't seem conduct the heat from the engine to the same extent as some of the third party "cold air" intakes do.

I got 1LE rear lights instead. I didn't see the point in getting one.

Below are a few dyno sheets and customer testimonials for the Roto-fab 2017+ ZL1 cold air intake system. Our CAI performs well with the factory calibration - 25 RWHP gains are common with this system! End-users have also noticed an increase in supercharger sound, as well as improved appearance and overall product quality with our CAI. Thanks for your interest! Please let me know if you have any questions about our cold air intake system!

Customer Testimonials:

Dave
"I did an independent test Wednesday on the Rotofab intake on my 2017 ZL1 A10.
Stock was 555hp 536tq, changed intake
and made 2 more pulls. 580hp 548tq.
25hp gain. No tune or anything else."

Jeffery

"Couldn't be happier with the purchase of my RotoFab CAI. Easy installation and love the increased SC whine and the seemingly improved throttle responsiveness."

Thomas
'Do you want to actually hear the supercharger whine as it pulls in alot more air than that little factory air intake? This does the trick. Easy to install with excellent instructions. Fits great and seals to hood when closed."

Gilgamesh

"Much louder and more responsive."

Kermit ZL1
"Simply put:
Would I buy this product again? Absolutely
Would I recommend it? In a heart beat..."
