Re-set the Bolt On Record. 10.24+130+

We reset the bolt on record at a slower track in higher DA. Still more to come with this car.

Before anyone asks.... if my math is right, these 1.35s-1.40s 60' times with a 3.27 rear gear swap puts him completing his shift into 3rd gear at the 60' mark doing ~58mph and is hitting 60mph around 1.60-1.75s. That is assuming no remaining wheel spin and the rate of change in velocity at the bottom of the power band is 3rd is closer to the overall rate of change than it is to the peak rate of change (which would be top of power band).

You're also approaching 2g's of force at launch. So impressive.

Nope, we are in first through thr 60ft. 0-60 is probably in the 2.3-2.5 range depending on the 60ft.

I can't even say "1st-2nd-3rd" in 1.3 secs...let alone get my car to shift that fast.

The fast list is super outdated man. Someone should keep that up.

I used 6300rpm as peak/shift and did not include the 0.45s dwell/shift window. My apologies.

I am shifting it at 6,900 out of first. We are also using a true 28" tall tire. I hope we are shifting in the .30 range. I will have to log it.

I did figure a 28" tire. If you are flashing to 5000rpm on launch, you'd be hitting 28mph in the first 10ft. If the shift time is around .30s and you're shifting at 6900rpm, then I think you are hitting 2nd at 38mph and 3rd at 58.5mph and your 0-60mph without wheel spin is about 2.3s. If you got it to shift at 7000rpm you would move the top of 1st to 39mph and the top of 2nd to 60mph, eliminating a shift in your 0-60mph time and 2.0s would be possible.

Are you just hitting the top of 5th at the end of your run? Your speed with a 6900rpm peak would suggest you are shifting as you hit the trap. At 7000rpm peak per gear you would stay in 5th up to 138mph. Without figuring DA/drag, you could hit 9.8x with your current power. Another 10-15hp and 7000rpm at peak could get you a 10 flat run in the real world without any other changes to the drivetrain.

Funny to be talking about a 10-flat NA street car. Unreal.
