I may swap out to a ZL1 style hood soon - if I do then this one will be available
If and when you do that I'd be happy to take that splitter off your hands.

Painted and looks good. Only problem is when I go to pop the hood, it doesn’t pop up. I have to lift it from the vent. This happen to anyone else?

Looks great! I am still having the same problem - can’t seem to get it adjusted.

Mine works like factory. I’m wondering if the bar that the latch actually catches is thicker than the original on and it’s sticking because of that? It’s something that I did notice on mine but it didn’t create any problems. Shuts perfectly and opens right up when I pull the lever. If that’s the problem though, maybe some material needs to be removed from it with like a file?

That is what it looks like to me and that is going to be my next step.

I finally got around to it today. I used a Dremel and ground a very small layer off the bar and that seems to do the trick!

The guy here in Fredericksburg cancelled on me and hasn’t responded to any emails so I’m back to square one looking for someone else . I may just get it painted in a Matte Black instead - I was hoping to save a few bucks with a wrap.

Thanks! I’m wondering if I should paint the scoop mesh black or leave it silver.

Ugh I know! I’m about to paint my hood blue for the new car and I’m torn with this as well.
