V6 Automatic with open diff
I would appreciate any comments from owners of the V6 with automatic transmission, which comes with an open differential.
How does the car handle with the open differential, and have you tracked the car on either a road course, autocross, or the drag strip? |

on the road you wont see a difference in day to day driving.
autocross obviously its noticeable. if you drive in the snow it might be a difference also. Tim |

I've taken mine to the dragstrip. Bone stock it ran a best of 13.6 at 104.

In my opinion the 6th gen V6 power delivery is very deceptive. The way the power is delivered with the smoothness of the trans and motor, you really don't feel like you're moving out. But you definitely are. Mind you that time was in good DA and temps, but I was still a bit surprised. My buddy was there in his bolt on and tuned 2004 Mach 1, and his times were almost identical to mine. One other thing to note is the weight of this car. I weighed mine on a certified CAT scale, and with a half tank it was 3360 lbs. That kind of surprised me to since it's listed more like 3420-3450 lbs
