Question 17 or 18" wheel on rear of '17 ZL1

Morning all. Is anyone SURE of what size wheel will fit on rear of a '17 ZL1? Most have told me an 18" is smallest I could go, but I have some say 17". Looking at the Weld S77 specifically.

I would love to know as well. Will need snow tires and wheels up here in the chilly Northeast. Don't expect to do deep snow with the ZL1, but can't run summer only rubber in the cold, nor want low profiles with the inevitable pot holes. Just not sure if the 17's will fit over the Brembo's.

I'm pretty sure you can't run a 17" with the 14" rotors. My Race Star 17's barely fit on my 16ss with smaller rotors. You should check out the Race Stars for your ride.

I have race star 18" wheels on my 5th gen ZL1. I'm pretty sure that's as small as I can go. Unless they've reduced the size of the brakes on the new car, which I'm sure they didn't, I'm pretty sure you're stuck with 18" wheels too.

I think they are 14.4 diameter, the 16ss is 13 something.

Gen 3 (current) CTS-V guys are running 17x10 Weld RTS's on the rear with the same brakes as the ZL1.

RUQWIKR, I think there's a difference there.

Tom, just go with a 18". They're going to provide pretty much the same kind of traction and tire choices, and in my opinion they look a lot better.

Anddddd you'll know that they fit.

I saw somewhere that the C6 Z06 or Gran Sport front rims fit. The 18x9.5 with a 40 something offset.

Yeah I had a 17x10 weld on there.

Have you been to the track with that yet 17 White ZL1? Any hard hits on the street?

Those look amazing, what are the specs on those rims, and which welds are they? Tire size?
