Thanks!

You also have to pay attention to the weather, the other day it was in the 50s and the rear end got a little squirrely on me. However, when the tire are warm it sticks to the ground and I haven't broke loose unless i wanted to.

2019 1LE and I have noticed a sensation like this under hard acceleration the back end seems to float/ move around even though I'm not breaking loose. It's scary as hell, I'm going to try to take it in. Problem is that it's difficult to replicate. Noticed only after I put my winter wheels/tires on.

Owning a ZL1 even makes it worse especially in the rain or cold conditions! Those GY Supercar tires don’t want to grip the road!

What axis are you feeling the movement on?

If it's lateral movement, it's the rear rubber cradle bushings.

It fish tails because the wheels are spinning. How do you know your wheels are not spinning? Its what causes the FT.

I would say it’s not normal if your back end is not breaking lose.

Majority of the time traction control off.

My 1SS non mag ride convertible (which I traded in) was solid as a rock. Zero pull, wander... nothing. This was down to 45F w/ stock Goodyear run flats.

The ZL1 is another story, scary wander / floating sensation @ full throttle and cooler pavement temps ~ 65 - 70F. This improves 50% when the tires are hot. This happens all the way up to 90 MPH, so the tires are not slipping.

I personally think it's a tire issue or the factory alignment, possibly one of the rear wheels toe is out just a smidge. I'll be bringing the car to someone familiar with high powered cars / alignment in the spring (for evaluation).

mine would do that but it was the rubber cradle bushings. BMR delrin bushings solved that.

I should have bought a ZL1

It's especially normal for a Mustang at Cars 'n Coffee.
