Remote Tuners

I used remote tuning for seven years to tune my GTRs.

Who are some of the LT4 tuners that use remote tuning?

I used Ted Jannetty for mine after buying the JRE 125whp package from him. It was an excellent experience and he was always willing to answer any questions I had. Ted knows his way around these cars pretty well.

My tune is from Ted Jannetty, too. He definitely knows what he's doing 100% and is very helpful as well, along with his crew (Kris G for the win, but honestly everyone I talked to in his shop gave a similar positive vibe and knew their jobs).

Jannetty gets outstanding feedback. Vengeance Racing does remote tuning also but not sure if its just for their customers who've had work done by them.

Ted from Jannetty is on my radar. I have spoken to him multiple times and also on email,He is very responsive on emails. I will be doing the JRE125 package just with just ARH instead of kooks.

If I was going to mod my ZL1 I would use Ted J. also because of the good reviews I have read about him. He definitely knows what he’s doing!

I'm getting ready to Work with Jannetty Racing on a tune. Once I was able to get a hold of them (Email was a problem, But Ted, the owner, went out of his way to have me call them. They promptly answered the phone which is very nice), they have been prompt, thorough, and congenial, which is also really nice. I will report back on the tune results very shortly.

Curious, do all of those you are looking at gonna do MAF only or MAF and VVe? One more thing to consider if you compare prices.

Excellent point!

I had my 2013 ZL1 tuned for a cold air intake and pulley. I went through five different tuners trying to get the car to drive as well as it did stock. Four out of the five tuners turned off the VE portion and made it a MAF only tune. It was the old adage, “time is money”. Do three or four pulls on the dyno, dial in WOT, charge $500 and send you on your way. Adjusting the volumetric portion takes way more time than most tuners want to spend. They actually have to drive the car on the street to recalibrate that portion of the tune. And GM must think it’s damn important or they wouldn’t use a blended tune.

Good question. I have assumed that my tuner would first tune with MAF and then using VVE, but I'm guessing a lot of tuners don't bother with VVE because it's so time consuming.
