A8 shudder at low speeds (is this the same A8 shudder lawsuit problem)

Hi,

After triple trans fluid flush and TC was replaced in my 2017 camaro ss I still feel a lot of jerkiness during shifting especially at lower speeds. I've never had a car driving so rough especially if you drive in a slow traffic. It almost feels someone hits you from behind.

is this the same problem people complain about and there is a A8 transmission shudder class action lawsuit or what I have is a different problem.

Thank you

Not the exact same problem, but also covered by the class action. Have you driven 200 miles since the last flush? The transmission is expected to relearn your shift patterns and become "lurch-free" once the relearn procedure completes.

I have had the exact same symptoms as the OP. I've driven 3k miles since the flush and the car still drives super jerky at low speeds. I hate it. I'm actually thinking of trading in just to get the new A10.

I'm sorry to hear it's that bad Not sure what your upgrade or modding plans are if you're considering a trade, but if I were in your shoes and could swing it, I'd go straight for the ZL1.

2017 SS A8 flush at 11K miles; starting to shudder again at 16.3K miles AND the power steering failed this morning (I knew there was a recall, but still took me by surprise). Glad my wife doesn't drive this car. Can't stand the facia on the 2019; may trade in for a 2020,
or a FORD...gasp!
