thanx for all the help so far..
looks like I will pull the trigger on the s/c because the deal is sick, but might have to wait on supporting parts and tune.... till the bills get paid down, the supporting parts will always be available but the s/c at this price will not... also Kentucky74 what cats are you running, my tuner is telling me that when the time comes my stainless works high flow cats will not be good enough....

Useful thread...any further detail on the weight difference or the total weight of any of the systems?
Thanks.

To my knowledge and what I have read on here, when you go s/c you need to change to 2' headers and I have seen a couple where the power they put out can melt the cats. I would go catless if you could to minimize the restriction through the exhaust.

You don't need 2" but that is the optimal solution. You can still make good power on stock headers with cat deletes.

I have the arh 2” headers without cats. My tuner said with fi it’s better to go catless if possible. You can always do the headers later or do the cat delete as recommended previously. I just love the sound of headers ! You will need a retune if you do headers later but since your tuner already has credits for
Your car it should be cheaper than your initial tune. |
