My pleasure. I will try to incl some additional data in a near future especially flash point. But by and large key data is there to provide objective comparison.
Cheers!

Fyi: ive updated my OP organizing the info a bit better (I hope), added a few new quick thoughts like normal vs severe duty and more info on SAPS for a more complete definition. Ive also changed the reference from Dexos 1 to more precise Dexos 1 Gen 2 (my thanks to Emoto here). Hopefully the info serves the forum members well.

PS welcome any corrections et al.

This was a awesome post ..based on my research and money value ...you can either go with a 5w30 or 5w40 esp oil and spend approximately 160-170 bucks with labor every 6 months with brings a grand total of 340 a year ...or go with valvoline mst 5w40 which about 110 for oil and labor 3 times a year grand total 330 ......so hmmmm fresh oil every 4 months or fresh oil every 6 months ..ill go with the valvoline 77 bucks at Walmart for a 12 pk vs 120 bucks for esp mobil 1 0w40 ps amsoil esp 5w40 is 12 bucks a quart

Or, to get the best of both worlds you can get the 0W-40 ESP at a great price:

I bought two 6-quart boxes for $49.99 each with free shipping. Also just got my rebate check from Mobil which was $12 per 5 quarts. So, I got 12 quarts for $76 (plus some taxes).

That seems like a good deal. Does Mobil 1 0W-40 ESP come in 5 gallon jugs yet?

I haven't seen anything but quarts. Those jugs make recycling so much easier as well.

This was a very helpful post; thank you.

Is there a best way to check the oil fluid level on our dipsticks? Parked car for 15 minutes? After parked for few hours?

This is from 2019 Owner's Manual page 241 and 242.

Basically 2 hrs is ideal. If not possible, then:

"If unable to wait two hours, the
engine must be off for at least
15 minutes if the engine is
warm, or at least 30 minutes if
the engine is not warm. Pull out
the dipstick, wipe it with a clean
paper towel or cloth, then push it
back in all the way. Remove it
again, keeping the tip down, and
check the level."
