The one I got does have a plug and play connector but also has two wires used for “activation” if I remember right. They need to be touched together and then separated or something. Maybe that’s what he is referring to.

Eyefixstuff, good point. I think they are a gray and black wire. And I think they are touched together when you set up your booster box, but once configured, they are separated and just wrapped and tucked away. Just like you that's my recollection too. Sounded like he had no plug-in connector at all for the pedal and only one wire.

Razor,

More details or some pics would be helpful. I'm sure we can help with a little more info.

I have the tps version, but I purchased it from Jegs. So it does not have the plug on the end.

Hi guys, I bought a JMS BAP from another forum member he took off his ZL1.

Doing due diligence before I install on my 1LE. I know the location of the FSCM is the same (under the car).

I have the following questions:

1) He sent it to me configured as he took it off, in my case would it be just plug it up and I'm good to go?

2) Would i need to reprogram the wattage settings?

3) Once installed and reprogrammed would I need to do anything tuning related?
I already modded my tune to ZL1 low side settings V@15.5 as other threads suggested but my low side continues to drop (hence why I bought the JMS).

4) if answer to question 3 is NO, then would there be any advantages of re-tuning after the JMS is installed?

Currently made 619HP/640TQ (SAE) but if I can gain more then hey they'll be more than welcomed.

LT4 Swap with LT4 fueling

Thanks in advance guys!

Talked with TMS and got the contact parts list he used. There should be no need to cut wires, simply extract factory wire, crimp/mate/shrink to JMS red wire with new contact, install boot/crimp/insert white wire back into factory connector.

571-8289051 (Seal)
571-1326032-6 (female 12AWG)
571-1-1326031-2 (male 12AWG)
571-1326031-5 (male 14AWG)
571-1-1326032-1 (female 14AWG)

He wasn't sure if it was 12 or 14 AWG contacts. I ordered both and will update with the correct size once I get the parts.

It should also be noted that these part numbers are Mouser Electronics specific numbers. They are not the manufacturer part numbers. Thanks to LiqTenExp for posting the update.
