Wideband HPTuners problem
Hey guys, I made this video for Ted Jannetty to see if he can determine why my wideband is not talking to HPTuners. Ted and HPTuners initially thought the problem was with my gauge, but Ted replaced the gauge and nothing has changed. I'm new to HPTuners, so the issue may be on my end. I thought I would post the video here to see if anyone could help. I'm sure Ted will chime in tomorrow, but I thought I would post here to see if anyone on the forums could help.

Mine has been randomly doing the same thing but you might try this.
-Delete the current WB PID and disconnect HPT scanner. -Put the car in Accessory mode by holding the start button with foot off the brake for 5-10seconds. -After the wideband heats up and switches on, connect the HPT scanner. -Select Add Pid. -In search box type "Wideband" -AEM device should show up in external controllers. -Add that PID to the list, Start car, and Start scanning. This is the only way to get mine to work and it will be fine for 2-3 different logs then start acting up. My guess is a software glitch.

Oh I was watching the video before I read further down that King figured it out. I was going to also suggest that you had to use the AEM specific PID and not just a Generic WB Ratio 1 selection.

Have you guys tried the "repoll for supported parameters" option?
if Wideband not reading. 1. click blue stop scanning 2. click on disconnect from vehicle 3. click connect to vehicle 4. click vehicle/Repoll For Supported Parameters

I had to use the repoll option, then used the WB EQ term in the channel list and it added the WB EQ just fine. Has worked that way since day 1.
