I don’t think so, but I can’t really measure it, stealth/tour mode is quiet and seems to work to my ears.

This was the closest similar thread I could find to post the question in (search seems to always take me to an error page).
I stumbled across an NPP exhaust for sale on marketplace on the cheap. How hard is would it be to retrofit on the cheap? I imagine I would need the proper diffuser and then some sort of way to control the valves (either aftermarket or the proper oem wiring and then reprogramming whatever modules control it). any other potential problems? I heard the valves have had issues but this is allegedly from a 2021 so hopefully it would be figured out by then? Worst case scenario it would be stuck open if I just bolted it up right? Could I delete the valves entirely if they turn out to have issues? |

I've not heard of anyone upgrading the infotainment for NPP. Honestly, I would have looked for an NPP car specifically instead of hacking up something to work after the fact.

I have read you can turn the npp on with an hp tuner and most people don’t because they don’t want to buy a 500 dollar tuner on top of the exhaust to turn it on. I have not actually done that myself. Just what I read.

Yeah, the only real driver is cost. If I can hook up an dual mode exhaust for $300 + 100ish for a diffuser + $20 for a switch and wiring I feel like that would be better than a $400 muffler delete or $700 axle back that would sound like shit because I don't want to spend 2k on a "real" exhaust.
I've done a google search too and it's just crazy that there doesn't seem to be any answer here. it can't be that hard to send the power/signal to the actuators to tell them to close? can it? |

1) The difference in their kit being closed and open (track mode) is 12 dB. 2) When the valves are open in track mode, the kit is 12 dB louder than the factory track mode. Unfortunately, no other details were provided regarding the RPM at which these sound levels were recorded. |

It's much louder then stock NPP open. Closed its not much louder at all. The 12db difference is between open and closed not stock npp open vs Corsa open. The Corsa NPP is excellent. It's literally mild to wild. But even when cruising around at lower RPM with the valves open it's not that loud. It gets louder as RPM's increase. 2k RPM on up it gets loud.
