Not sure that I agree with you. A GS C7 would not even bother wasting gas on the Yugo, so the Yugo would win if it had a good driver.

Was hoping for more grunt, but figured it wouldn't happen. Mostly was hoping so we'd get a higher powered NA engine for the Z/28. Otherwise car looks great.

No disrespect to the C7. I just wanted to provide a spot to discuss the new Grand Sport as every post in the general discussion section got moved to the C7 site.

I was hoping for a N/A 500 hp C7 GS with its own unique spoiler, ground fx, and the classic Corvette GS paint job... ya know the Hyper blue with one big white stripe running down the middle of the car.... but this is ok

It's going to be a good car. I was just hoping it would get more horsepower to be the spiritual successor to the Z06.

This^, didn't expect anything more than a LT1 with the Z06 body.

True but the C6 Z06 didn't have an auto or vert option, was naturally aspirated and weighed less than the base car. None of that is true for the C7 Z06.

It's still just the Z06 body with the base corvette motor. The C6 Grand Sport came with the LS3, with the exception of the 2013 grand sport 427 convertible that was basically a convertible Z06

It looks great, hopefully it will full on smoke a GT350R around any track or Corvette needs to go back to the drawing board though.
