Automatics
Any of you automatic guys track your cars? I am thinking about it and just wanted to see if anybody would share their thoughts.

marc has a 2ss and competes in musclecup in socal and nick has a10 zl1 coupe that he tracks both havent had any issues as far as i know!

After doing some transmission tuning the paddles and shifts are much more responsive, especially with downshifts. There's some getting used to timing the upshifts with the paddles, as there's definitely a delay. My biggest gripe has been heat. When it's hot out, during a full 20 minute session, sometimes the trans will refuse to downshift when I want it to. A trans cooler, which many of you SS and up guys have, would help immensely.

I am unsure if my answer will help, much. I have the A10 and I track my car some. It works very well.

A10 ZL1 track at Road America. The auto works as well on the track as the SMG in my old E46 M3 track car.
