Any updates for anyone? I'm still waiting on my 1LS, built in March but nothing yet. And local dealerships in my area also don't have any Camaros in stock

Wow, four months since being built and still not shipped? That is torture. Mine is “In Transit” but no ETA, although my dealer said it “could be a month”. Not sure when it was completed, but I believe much more recently. Hopefully won’t have to wait as long.

Yeah it was painful at first but now I've mentally allowed for the fact that it's not going to come any time soon, if ever

So looks like it's not only me, that's somewhat reassuring (misery loves company )

Hang tough. I waited for 9 weeks before it showed up. Painful. Your longer that that. I can’t imagine. At least you know it’s produced and your name is on it. If your concerned do a build on Chevy sire and check inventory. Their out there. I seen some movement in Essex county. My dealer had 7 delivered along with mine and only 3 where spoken for.

I am tempted to cancel my order. According to OMVIC, my sales contract is void anyways since they failed to deliver within 4 months. I have zero updates from my dealer other than its supposedly at 3000 status. No VIN

Well, it's looking more and more likely that if you don't have an order in now, chances are slim to none that you will ever get one. I was chatting with a sales rep at Bill Spencer Chevrolet, which sells a lot of Camaros and they've already ordered their entire allotment of Camaros for the entire year, which was only something like 5.

Guessing it's going to be a big fat 0 for the dealer I was working with. Almost 2 years of waiting for nothing.

Allocations are made weekly by GM, dealers wouldn't know how many Camaro's (including what trim) they might get ahead of time. No way for a dealer to know they have their years allotment already. They could guess based on what they have gotten historically but that's all it is, a guess. You put your order in , it sits at 1100 until GM says you have an allocation, as true for a dealer as an individual. Unless your a big volume Camaro dealer like some in the U.S. you just hope your number gets called.

That said given the line up to buy Camaro's ahead of the January '24 end of run date I doubt Cdn dealers are expecting to see many more the rest of the year. Likely the big U.S. dealers will be hoarding them when they can get them. I see posts on the forum about them asking above MSRP especially for the higher end units like the 2SS, LE and ZL1's.

Of course I sincerely hope you're right. But it begs the question why would they tell me they've already ordered their entire allotment for 2024? This isn't some backwater dealer that's only sold a couple of Camaro's in the past decade. Spencer Chev currently has more Camaro's in inventory than any other Ontario dealer. If anyone should know what's going on, you'd think it would be them. Or is GM's allocation process so broken and incomprehensible that the dealers haven't a clue what's going on?

Allocations come out week to week, it is a moving target at GM as their order book constantly changes across their model line.

It is possible given the cutoff in Jan '24 that all future Cdn Camaro allocations are spoken for and GM sees no more coming to Canada, maybe has given a heads up like that to that dealer and others. Kind of a unique situation for the Camaro. Never the less those dealers will still be on a call with GM every week talking about allocations. I have seen surprises come from that meeting as suddenly allocations appear.

Your dealer is able to track it. Ask them
