Automatice Tranmission - Track Fill

How is everyone treating your track-fill preparation for the automatic transmission. I am intending to drive to Bowling Green, track on Thursday at NCM and then have a few passes down Beech Bend.

I have the Motul Dexos II oil in the garage. I am awaiting the 600RBF Motul brake fluid. This seems to be straight forward. Change before I leave and when I return.

The issue seem to be the A10. Am I able to track-fill here in South Louisiana, head north, track the car and then head south, having all of the fluids changed upon arriving back at home? This may be 2,000 miles, door to door,

I thought there was a TSB out stating the track fill level for the trans was not needed any more. Further testing or some such.

There was a TSB for trans overfill and one saying that the track level mention in the manual was an error. Check you car's build date and you may not need to do anything.

My car is a 2018 ZL1 A10 and I've tracked it hard and heavy, no issues, no "special track fill" needed.

Was there a window we know of if you have the overfill?? I don't recall the build date but took possession of it last year in early-mid March.

If you got it mid March 2017 the there's a good chance it's in that window. That's a pretty early car. The process to check it is somewhat extensive. You have to get the trans temp up and then check. I'd take it to a dealer and ask them to verify unless you know what you're doing.

This is where I keep coming back to. The information seems to be somewhat vague or conflicting. I will see how the dealer does with the question and task.

There is no "track fill", that terminology was incorrect. However, there is a fill/overfill check that should be done, as with any auto transmission.

I've been tracking my A10 hard in hot weather with no problems, I have 7500 miles on car and have done the service through dealer twice now. You will have no problems
