Well guys....I'm considering headers over the winter along with a few other mods, and I'm likely going to swap out the front pipes to the resonated version. Otherwise it would effectively be headers and straight pipes. That's the great thing about the AWE system, very easy change

Sorry it's not better, faster, stronger......between weather and schedule it's been hard to get the time.

Think it's a great sounding system. Will get something from full-speed on the track mid-November at Road Atlanta.

Sounds great!

Thanks for taking the time to record and post.

Not surprised by the results...AWE is legit as ****. I had their exhaust in my S4 and they made it sound awesome which is hard with a V6.

I went ahead and ordered the touring axle back as I didn't to mess with connections to my headers. Should be interesting, will try to make a video when I get them and install them.

Hey Todd,
That was a great sounding "35 MPH" fly by video there

Can't wait to see some fly by video's from the track events!

Hey Nick, good to hear from you!

Will be a while before I get back to RoadAmerica, but will let you know when the 2019 schedule gets put together.

Hoping I can get someone in the hot pit at Road Atlanta to get a video coming down the front straight in November. Will post if I do.

Am I missing something here but to me it looks just like straight pipe exhaust with quad tips for $1300

Wouldn't it be cheaper to add QTP low profile electric exhaust cutouts and accomplish the same thing?

Hard to image straight pipe exhaust having no drone

Had B&B bullet system on the vette and the drone would cause a headache reinstalled factory and add cutouts. The car has 2inch ARH's & no cats

Depends on which version you are talking about. According to the AWE site here:

https://www.awe-tuning.com/chevrolet...-exhaust-suite

AWE Track Edition Axle-back Exhaust for Gen6 Camaro SS / ZL1 - Chrome Silver Tips (Quad Outlet) - $735

AWE Track Edition Cat-back Exhaust for Gen6 Camaro SS / ZL1 - Non-Resonated - Chrome Silver Tips (Quad Outlet) - $1363

AWE Track Edition Cat-back Exhaust for Gen6 Camaro SS / ZL1 - Resonated - Chrome Silver Tips (Quad Outlet) - $1521

Based upon the pictures of the track versions, it appears it is just straight piped as I don't see anything that would look like a sound dampener near the tips

Cutouts are cheaper but it isn't always about saving money

Drone....I'll be honest and say I have no idea what drone actually is. Some people say they have it on exhaust A/B/C and you'll get just as many saying they don't have it on the same setup. I think its pretty subjective in terms of what it actually is.

Ever driven a car with 40-Series Flowmasters? That’s drone, aka interior resonance. It’s that bassy tone that you can feel in your head, but it usually only occurs in a certain RPM range. Usually off idle to maybe 2500 RPM is where it can be noticeable.

Thanks for posting those pics, Mike.

Mine wasn't on the lift any longer and I didn't have any pics at that angle. Given the quality of the system I would have been surprised there was a clearance issue, good to know for sure. Hope you're enjoying your Crush ZLE!
