Dang, I gotta put mine on a diet. Normally I am over 4,000 with me it. Lightest I have raced is 3,940 with me in it. Guess it is time to pull the trigger on some skinnies for the front.

Rob, I noticed in your video of the 10-sec runs that you had pulled your rear seat, but it looked to me like you left a cooler in the trunk?

Seemed like a good pass, your mph is a little low and you should be in at least the low 130's with the HP you posted. You are making progress, good job. Good DA would help some of that.

I had a cooler with ice to keep the IATs down. Pulled the rear seat to offset the weight of the cooler. Haven't really focused on the weight to this point but need to look at it now.

My drag radials set up is heavy, 59lbs, only a few pounds lighter than stock, fronts are still stock wheels and tires. If I switch DRs and add skinnies to the front, I should save 70lbs or so in rolling weight. That should give me at least a 1/10th in the 1/4.

Any idea how much reducing 70lbs of rolling would increase the MPH?

Mine 2SS on Race Stars with full interior and me at 225 was 3,840.

On Welds with a 15" conversion and removed interior is 3,700.

Its about 90 lbs you lost with the passenger seat and rear. I know my 1ss was about 80 lbs and the 2ss seats are heavier. Good weight savings.
