The non SS 19s look great. The 19 SS reminds me of the Swayze brothers. You got Patrick which is the 16 to 18. Then you have the brother (the 19). You see signs of the good looking one but not quite.

That big black front on the '19 SS follows a fad started a few years ago by Audi. It doesn't look aggressive like previous Camaro fronts.
The V6 front looks better but has no fog lights. That's gives it a failing grade for lack of function. |

I’m not into dudes so I may not be the best judge, but IMO the Swayze brothers are both ugly.

Yes, a car like a Camaro is for “display purposes” too. |

I spent about 20 mins in the booth on Friday and heard no less than 3 people ask what they were thinking with the new design. I personally spoke to one of the engineers and asked about the option of swapping the 2018 nose and was told that it was a bolt on if you buy the 2018 headlights. She said that she had been asked that question many time already. These cars actually look worse in person than they do in Pics which is hard to do but GM has figured it out.... |

I've seen the 19's in person (At Chevrolet Carlisle) and they look just like they do in pics.. ugly. I don't like the V6 front end any better than the SS one, it looks like a big gaping mouth hanging open. If the 19 does anything, it makes you realize how good the 16-18's look. The 2019 SS looks like a pickup truck from the front. Just terrible in every way. The taillights are no improvement either IMO. They look like they were copied from an old 1971 Merc Montego. Different but definitely not better. I'd get an '18 ordered quickly before these '19s are all you can get.

Next Camaro will be a ZL1. That said, was never really a fan of the 6th Gen SS front end and hood. The restyled SS isn’t much if any of an improvement IMO. Too bad they can’t just seal up the flowtie bumper mold and put a flowtie on the upper grill. This alone would greatly increase its front end appearance. Looking forward to seeing the 19 SS 1LE.
