I think that might be intake air temp (IAT) sensor. Looks like it is on the manifold. The other sensor in the first picture (with the hex fitting) might be the water temp sensor.

It could be your oil pressure sensor. No matter what it is your problems appear to be deeper then just the wiring. The pic looks like the mouse destroyed the sensor as well. Looks like the sensor needs to be rewired and replaced.

If you are not getting an error code, I would wrap one wire in a short length of electrical tape, then wrap both together. Use a small zip tie to cinch the electrical tape so it can't come unraveled. If the copper conductors are still good, you are only creating more potential headaches by trying to remove and repair the harness. Fix it in situ.

Bingo! The outer plastic of the sensor has no impact on the sensor’s function. Take care of the exposed copper wiring as ctrlz states and you should be set...assuming this was the extent of the damage.

I think I finally found a picture. Looks like lugs is 100% correct.
See the photo on page 12 step 31 of these instructions for installing a supercharger on a 6.2. Two blue wires, same position on the engine.

Thanks for the help guys. Dealer said it was a fuel injector harness. Estimate is $700 to replace it.

If you are paying for it try and find a used harness.

If the copper isn't chewed and it is only those two wires I would tape it off and save the $700 for beer money.

Sure, use electrical tape, save your $700. Or better yet, actually fix it instead doing some half ass crap to get you by. If you give advice like this I'd hate to see what you do when you take care of the rest of the car.

Good to know what it actually is. I looked in the manual I have doing a quick scan and it looked like it was in the location of the oil sensor.

If this were my car I would probably repair the harness by soldering in two new wires and shrink wrapping the spliced areas. You can probably get enough slack to do the repair on car by disconnecting the back 3 injectors on that side. This is above the skill level of many, and dealers are never going to do this in lieu of a full parts swap because the latter is more profit.
I stand by my suggestion of electrical tape secured by some zip ties to keep it from unraveling. That would hold up for the duration most people are going to own this car.
