I feel like some prices like this are misleading because usually in involves all the cash incentives as well as conquest and GM loyalty incentives, which not everyone qualifies for but they use it to make the price appear lower.

Copy that. I got emailed offers from 4 dealers in various states in the past few days and they are all above $44k drive out. Waiting for the 2019's to hit the floor in a week or two. Hoping they bring back the conquest that applies to all year 2000 or newer.

Couldn't wait any longer... picked up my Red Hot 1SS 1LE yesterday (pics in new member section). $42k drive out which I had to use GM Financing for in order to get the discount. No early payment penalty so I can pay it off asap. If they would have brought back the conquest for non-mustangs, I could have saved another $2k, but didn't want to risk not getting the color/options I wanted. Good luck to the rest of you!

That's not bad, I paid $47K for my 2SS 1LE 5 weeks ago.

So $42K OTD (tax, tags, fees included). If so, that's a good deal. Cheapest out here in SoCal I've found is $39,999 before all that.

I agreed to $39.5k for a grey 1SS 1LE w/no other options, they are also doing a thru-sale on my trade-in that saves me $1500 in taxes after their fees. There are $2500 in incentives so actual price on the car is $42k - incentives.

I'm sure the loan rate from GM will suck but you can refi in 3 months.

For those with more patience I bet there will be deeper discounts as it gets colder outside and the '19s roll in.

NIce, man!! Congratulations!!
Out the door, it's not bad at all! I wish I had had that - lol.

Bought my '17 Red Hot SS 1LE last year, with PDR, strut tower brace and a couple of other cosmetic stuff. The MSRP was $47,500. I got them down to $42,500, and couldn't get it any lower... But with taxes (almost 10% where I live in California), it got me back up to $46,000 anyway - lol.
But I'm VERY happy with it!

Congrats again!
