Hyper Blue guys, how good is DrColorChip vs OEM?
Hi guys. I bought an Delco OEM touch up pen and it’s darker than the hyper blue color on the car. I’m thinking of getting DrColorChip when they have a sale, is it very close? What’s it look like to you?

I've been very happy with Dr. Color Chip. I can't comment on OEM, but no issues with color matching Dr. Color Chip. I have a chip on my bumper, hood, and rear quarter panel that are hidden pretty well. I have a handful of more I still need to do, but I recommend it.
This was my first chip

Is the DrColorchip a bottle with a little brush? I got the GM one and its really weird two step process. I just want a single stage paint that matches.

The second step is also to seal in what's left in the chip. I bought these little brushes to help. Dr. Color Chip recommends wiping across the chip with a gloved finger, which does work too. I use the brushes to slowly fill in and build up chipped area. I'm not an expert and in no way have I perfected how to do it. But I try it both ways and see which ends up with better results. If I don't like it I use the sealant/remover and take it off the paint and start over. https://www.amazon.com/TCP-Global-Br...touch+up+brush

I'll have to try it. It may be what I need for the road rash on the quarters.

I've used the OEM touch-up paint on the driver's side door edge and it matched pretty well. For a couple small chips from a long trip, I'm about to try Dr. Colorchip this weekend. Will report the results.
