SONAX

Just a PSA to use some on your alcantara (wheel, shifter, seats, headrest) next time you wash the car. I can't believe how well it restores things to "as new" look and feel.

Woolite and a microfiber is so much less expensive.

Just used it yesterday on my wheel and shifter for the 2nd time. Works great. Did the driver's seat too but it surprisingly wasn't bad. I want to try it on my Scion's seats since they're older and could use a good cleaning.

I've been meaning to pick some up. For now I've just used a clean terri-cloth towel dipped in warm water to control the moisture.

It's so satisfying. I did my BRZ seats when I sold the car, and I couldn't believe how well it worked.

It is entirely possible that the water and the cloth are doing most of the work for me, and the Sonax scent is giving me some sort of placebo effect. It's German so it must be better right? /s

Can someone link a brush and cloth you have used to apply the cleaner?

I just use microfiber rags I get in a box dispenser from Amazon. Vacuum, dampen rag, wipe down, spray on Sonax, rub it in with the rag, wait 5 minutes, dampen fresh rag, wipe down, rinse & wring out rag, repeat until rag comes off clean.

Using woolite won't cause the fabric to fade, and Sonax leaves behind a cleaning agent which attracts dirt causing the alcantara to mat down and show dirt faster.

So woolite, then water to clean it off. Perfect. (which is also fantastic for carpets)
