I'm in North Jersey. She got a wash last week, going to hibernate this weekend before the snow, salt and pot holes arrive.

It sucks but it makes the spring startup that much sweeter . I debated on whether I want to cover mine or not. I have a car cover from before, but it technically is not an indoor cover... so I would be concerned about trapped moisture.

[QUOTE=ember1205;10908561]Tonneau cover. They are body-color except for the black strip which is where the convertible top seats against it when it's up.

Interesting. I looked into it a bit and I believe "top" or "boot" cover is what that piece would be called. Tonneau covers actually cover part of the car's interior.

To be honest with you, putting the car in storage makes you appreciate the car more. I couldn’t tell you exactly why but you are 100% correct about the sprint startup! Also, I made sure I got a breathable indoor cover for the car. It was costly, but anything for my baby <3

Nice. At the time, it wasn't sought after like it would be now... Imagine what it would be worth if it were a '70! My brother used to have a 442 W-30 with the factory 8-track in it. lol

The parts catalog refers to the area where the roof folds into as a "stowage compartment". If you look up the part for the Gen5, it shows and is called a tonneau. The sales brochures for the Gen6 refer to it as a "hard tonneau".

My only experience with tonneau covers to this point were the things that covered up the bed of my trucks.

Thanks for that

I’ve been a fan of the Z cars as well as Camaro’s my whole life - truth be known a 300zx twin turbo nearly took my life, or saved my life (depends how you look at it), in the early 90’s when I was much younger and quite stupid. I shat on my seat, but it was awesome!

The 370z Nismo is a brilliant little (albeit throwback), car. High strung and needs to be wound up for true enjoyment. My wife is the best, let me buy the Camaro’s with no issues. When she came to me wanting something “zippy” but not scary like a Camaro, i was selfish and sort of steered her in only one direction...

My summer toys get parked end of October. Winter toys come out once the snow hits the ground!

Snowed 6" on Monday. I went for a nice spin this afternoon, sunny and 45F. Roads were dry. No issues. The car's too much fun to be parked.

We had empty roads, 62 degrees and some sunshine after hours of rain and very humid air, so I thought I might as well enjoy the rare occasion before the salt trucks inevitably come out. Car felt very good, but not much traction, as expected (sigh).

Agree. Thanksgiving afternoon is a great time to let it eat. No traffic.
