I have two so called free oil changes coming from my dealer.
They have phoned me three times since I purchased my Camaro back in OCT.
In storage.. I have 380 miles on her.
She comes back with.. Still, you need to change the oil, you're coming up on several months.
OK, Will the change out be with Mobil1?
No, it will be Delphi, Delfoid I can't recall the shit she was talking about.

You can pay the the difference if you would like Mobil1.
The difference? $65.00.

10 qts / two 5 qt jugs of Mobil1 from Walmart is right around $65.00

I asked her not to phone me again.. Please remove me from your PC.

Just put ad dons on this's morning. Bit of a PITA. I USED TWO pucks on the pinch welds and one on the ad dons. Works great. What sucks is getting the Allen to fit and seat in the bolt. I can post pics if you'd like.

Chris.

[QUOTE=bullet3z;10218543]I just put on my ZL1 lift pads without lifting the car. Let's just say that was a pain. It is not easy to do while laying on the ground.[/QUOTE

Floor jack to give some room but concur with you.

Agree on this. Glad to hear I’m not the only one that had trouble with the Allen seating easily. Zl1addons provides the Allen wrench with the kit, it would be nice if the bolt could be changed to accept a flat head or phillips. I understand there is minimal clearance for a traditional screwdriver but I’m pretty sure they make a screwdriver in the shape of the Allen wrench provided.

Backs had enough room to let's say fashion a tool? Still had to work Allen for that last 3/4 turn or so. Plus side is my 6 th coat of a Zaino cycle was drying while I did the ad dons.

I'll be installing the ZL-1 lift pads today.
A couple of you folks stated you installed them with the car directly on the ground.
I'm thinking to drive up my ramps. Stop short while climbing the ramp. Stopping when the end of the ramp reaches the cut outs in the front.
After, do the same at the back of the car. Ride up the ramps in reverse. Back up the ramps similiar. Back up until the end of the ramps just reach the cut out in the rocker.

I'm thinking I can ride up 1/3 or better up the ramps.

Maybe this will give me 2"-3" more ground clearance to get under and install the pads.
I know my head isn't going to work well setting on the concrete on one ear.
You would need to be rocking a real narrow pinhead between your shoulders to install comfortably.

It should work,,,, I'm just going to creep up my ramps front and rear hoping to get an inch or two more head clearance.

Anyway, I didn't have time to install them yesterday.

I forgot that my wife invited a few of her friends over for a going away thing for a person in her work group.
I had agreed to wait on them for the day.

So,, I ended up hitting the JB while putting beef short ribs on the smoker.
Cooking meat, Staring at my Car while drinking the Devils liquid.

If you have the pics I would love to see them just to make sure the picture in my head is the same. Thanks!
