2017 Camaro SS 1LE front nose schematic
Does anyone have a schematic for how the panels all attach under and behind the front nose for the SS or 1LE (I most of it should be similiar).
Got the Procharger D1SC put on and several of the ducts have to be left out of the car due to how the charge piping routes from the supercharger to the intercooler and then back to the throttle body. I want to see if I can modify any of them to get them to work. As of now they had to remove the middle under-nose shroud for the radiators, both of the side shrouds behind the marker lights that feed into those radiators and the brake ducts. Thanks in advance... I would like to see a drawing as well. Just to be able to remove the least amount of parts to get access to clean out debris around the radiators.

I looked on GMpartsdirect at some parts schematics, not the best pics and don't really show you what you want to see.

My apologies for hijacking the thread, but seeing this exploded view of the front bumper in message #3 here gave me an idea for a new type of removable front license plate holder. Can one of you guys who has removed the front bumper skin confirm for me that the 6 blocks across the front of the black hard rubber Absorber (Part # 84214301, and #19 in the drawing above) are solid - except for the first one on the passenger side that’s drilled for the tow hook? If the blocks are hollow, they won’t be strong enough for the mount I have in mind. Thanks.

This helped, thanks. At this point I am hosed on getting the ducts back into place. Cooling has not been affected at all from what I have been logging. Most of the charge piping and the BOV is on the drivers side right beside the side radiator, so there is no way to get the side radiator shroud back in place nor the brake ducts. I might be able to make a panel to divert the airflow back into that side radiator out of some Kydex I have at the house. |
