Headers to AWE Catback
I have AWE touring catback exhaust. Going to be getting kooks headers. Will the headers bolt up to the exhaust or will I have to do some mods to make it work?

cat back is designed to fit factory headers.

Probably need your shop to fab up some connectors or cutting and welding. It's normal for any headers and catbacks.

The AWE cat back is designed to fit from the 'cats back'.
The AWE system requires cutting a specified distance behind the secondary cats to attach. OP, you will likely have to fab something to attach the headers to the AWE cat back.

What if you have the AWE catback with the performance link pipes (2nd cat delete pipes)? No cutting was required then so its like the stock. Would headers bolt right up to that?

I have the AWE Cat Back, with Kooks and Cat Delete, you will need to add a two inch spacer to join to the link pipe. Both banks.

Jarred
My two inch spacers were made by a local muffler shop, out of three inch stainless pipe. |

The AWE will match up to your OEM headers with or without the links depending if you want to delete your secondary cats.
Kooks long tube with free flow cats will connect to your OEM exhaust, but not to your AWE system. Either set up will connect to the OEM, but never shall the two meet! Some welding will be needed, at least that's what I had to do. I was also able to keep my secondary O2 sensors, so no CEL due to header/exhaust system install...just watch that knock sensor on the passenger side...that will throw a CEL if knocked loose!
