We have been hoping for and begging GM to offer a medium blue since they discontinued ABM in 2009. I'm going to gloss over the kinetic blue metallic debacle.

It's pinkish. I saw a Sonic in that color while at the dealer. Terrible color.

I like that white car with the blue stripe, minus the 21' wheels

Anyone know if Chevy would sell the leather seat covers? I think those would look great in an IBM car.

Guess Chevy based this on the stampede of customers to get Furious Fuchsia challengers a few years ago (sarcasm BTW).

Got to love how every time Chevy announces some new color, we gets lots of responses from people just wanting a medium blue.....and I AGREE!

I mean...I have Aqua Blue so I'm happy (which is pretty close to Laguna or Kinetic in the sun..but more teal in the shade...but I love it and wouldn't trade it for any other color.) But I just can't understand why in the world they will offer this pinkish purple color, but they tell us they can't give us a blue because of low sales.

Sorry to everyone who has explained in the past about why we can't get a decent blue but I'm calling BS. If you can offer this color you can do a blue. But its offered on other models which enables us to offer it on the Camaro you say?? How about offering Laguna, or Kinetic blue on those other models and dropping Magenta...you can't tell me Magenta is selling well on the other models. Would this Magenta REALLY outsell Kinetic Blue on the Spark or the Sonic????

All I've got to say is if they offer a nice medium blue on the first model run of the 6th gen you boys and girls better snatch them up, b/c GM doesn't seem to keep any blue running for very long at all.

/end rant

I'm sure somebody will like Pink Explosion Metallic but put me with the blue crew. I'm happy with my Red Hot 1LE but I hope they come through for us with a nice blue on the sixth gen.

The exterior of the 2014 Camaro Spring Special Edition Package will be instantly recognizable by its Summit White exterior and unique factory-installed Blue Ray stripe. A body-color spoiler (found on Camaro ZL1 models) and several Chevrolet Accessories (ground effects, black grille, 21-inch wheels
and gill decals) combine for a dynamic appearance. The package also adds elements found on the RS Appearance Package – HID headlamps and LED taillamps. Convertible models include a blue fabric top.
I was wondering if the coupe version will have the Blue Ray Stripe continue over the roof? My guess is likely not... similar to the 45th edition sans roof stripe.

Still a cool car... reminds me of the iconic 1st & 2nd gen Trans Ams. A tribute to GM's (Pontiac's) Cameo White with Tyrol Blue striped ones from the past.

Uh, yes it is. And it's terrible, especially since they won't put out a decent green or offer different interior color options on the ZL1.

At least Furious Fuchsia had some heritage behind it in the old Panther Pink. There's never been a pink Camaro option. Which wasn't a bad thing.

Love the interior on the Summer Edition. I have a question though, do they still do the ambient lighting on the door panels or did that get dropped at some point?
