I'm pretty sure they were talking about keeping their older model camaro when they bought the 5th gen. We all plan on keeping the 5th gen a looooooong time. I wish I could have kept my 88 iroc but that's been gone a long time. I will keep this one forever.

Depends, if you are looking to sell it in the next few years, do not expect to recover much of your investment into mods. If you are selling it many years from now I personally don't see this as being a collector car that will be worth thousands over what you paid. But that IMO. I am going to mod it and drive it for myself. I am not going to worry about 40 years from now.
