2016 Halo Lights

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone has done a halo lighting mod on their new 2016 yet. I saw one the other day, but didn't get a chance to talk to the owner. I was just wondering if it is as easy as it was on the gen5's and if anyone has run into any issues (also who you got yours from).

I wonder with the eyebrows on as well if it will be too much and won't look good at night.. Then again I could be wrong.

I don't get why people call them eyebrows. aren't eyebrows above the eye?

anyway, I'm more interested in changing the color of the "lower eyelids" then adding halos, like the sema car. according to ricardo with phastek, something is in the works...

Agreed. The only thing I was thinking about doing is getting just white halos for my summit white since I go to a lot of night events. That plus rewiring my glowtie so it can be on at the same time would make for a nice clean look without needing the car on!

I saw a guy on FB with them. Found out a local company (we're in Los Angeles) did it for like $450 (not a great price but not horrible considering that was a "drop the car off, pick it up done" price)...

I contacted them to see if instead of Halos they could just change the lighting on our... ummm... "not eyebrows" (wtf are we calling them?)... but no response yet.

I would highly recommend using a certified Oracle installer (and calling them to find out who's the best in your area) if you do this instead of DIY. If it's not done perfectly right, you're going to start getting moister in your lights...RIP headlights. It looks easy on YouTube, but don't let that fool you.

They also look cheesy in colors, but their white looks kind of cool on a black car since it's got a blue-ish hue.

Thanks for the input. I have heard some bad stories since I started asking.

I think if I did do it, I would also go with just white as well. That plus rewiring the Glowtie to work at the same time I think would look good at night shows/meets.

I did my wifes dodge challenger and it was more work then i expected. You have to seal them back up however you opened them. I tried the heat gun and it did not work. It wouldnt heat the seal up enough. Ive also saw some do the oven technique. I was a little scared to do that one so I cut the housing open then sealed back up with some good silicon. The lights look great. I thought about doing them on the camaro but I to wonder how itll look with the drl. Maybe a pic with the halos and drl would help me decide
