You know, that's actually not half bad IMO.

While I would like that, too, I wonder how nicely it will play with the overall chassis characteristics.

And at least on the C7, the hatch is a PITA to close with the doors closed. The pressure inside builds up and you practically have to either slam the hatch really hard to shut it, press on it hard while the hatch is down, or have a door open.

I thought LT1 is there to compete with the base Mustang GT, since SS is more expensive than a base GT.

I think it looks better than the SS pickup truck refresh.

It looks good, but I don't think I like the silver on the bottom part of the grille.

I still think it looks better than the updated SS front end. I'll never get used to the "cheekbone" looking things introduced on the refresh. Totally throws off the whole look of the car IMO

I like the hood scoop better than the twin scoops mine came with. I don't like the little cheekbone tab things.

The grill looks good to me. Painted brake calibers up front and not in the back is asinine. The spoiler does nothing for me, but isn't bad. Definitely don't like the LT1 badges on the side.

If I had one I would take the LT1 badges off, paint the rear brake calibers to match the front ones and call it good.

I think we need to be careful with the way we say things.

There isn't just the V8 in life. There are many other things.

I think that is because it doesn't really save you much money over a SS and it doesn't look as nice(although I do like how it looks). Back in 2002 you could buy a Base Z28 around 22k. A SS was 32k. In 2020 the LT1 is only a few grand cheaper then a 1SS. It's not really a bargain imo. If the MSRP was around 30-32k then yes it makes sense, but they are around 35k and the 1ss is around 38k. I also see a lot of incentives on the 1SS where they often can be had in the low 30's. So in the end the 1SS is still the better buy.

From the standpoint of it having that sleeper kind of look I like it. A V6 body with a V8 engine gives it a certain appeal

Not to mention the SS will hold it's value better, in addition to all the goodies that come with it.

SS package was $3625 package. So came to about $26K.
