I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. I have garnet red and love it. I have not experienced any undue attention from police. I do get asked by people about the color though. I will have to wait and see what the wild cherry looks like in person but I still can't see a wrong choice. The Hot rod red, garnet red, wild cherry, riverside blue... if it's on a camaro it will look good!

I think the Wild Cherry is going to be the best. W/o a doubt build it with the Ground Effects package and you can do that w/o the Wild Cherry Package because I just did it.

The Ground Effects package entirely change how the car looks. Makes it look wider and lower to the ground.

I have Hot Wheels Version and I wouldn't buy a Camaro w/o the ground effects and I'm a cheap SOB!!!

My Grandson has the '19 satin steel 3lt RS with the ground effects and black rally stripes which actually make the car look much sportier than it probably is. It is a good looking Camaro.

Heh, garnet red's "true" name for the Camaro isn't too shabby either: "Caught Red Handed"

Good news: I was able to see both in person today! The blue is beautiful but the red did stand out more to me especially with black accents. So unless I decide I want to be a bit more hidden, Red Hot it is.

Thanks for all the replies! You guys are great.

Yeah purely based on looks I like the red. Based on living with it and not standing out, I like the blue. That's really my entire dilemma right now.

Is attention unwanted?

Why?

Insecure people seek out attention for validation. Looks like desperation and can be quite cringeworthy.

I love red hot. Keeps the hordes of distracted SoCal social media influencer drivers from running into me. Used to drive a grey car, it was horrible, like camoflauge especially when dirty. These days I like my cars to stand out, and red hot stands out.

The blue looks good too but definitely doesn't pop as much.

Red owners: do you have any regrets? Do you feel you get pulled over more or get unwanted attention?
I had a 2005 Mustang GT coupe with the "Screaming Yellow" paint. Looked amazing over the 10 years I owned it and drew all kinds of attention right to the end. Got comments all the time, from all types of people. It was a love it or hate it color and I got comments both ways. In the 10 years I owned it, however, I was pulled over exactly 1 time.

I think that one was just the cop looking for a possible drunk driving opportunity, as it was about 12:30 am on a deserted ride home from a late night at my work office. He asked if I knew what he pulled me over for, and I said no, and he said I was doing 42 in a 35 mph zone. Then he asked me where I was coming from, and he told me to have a good night and keep it under the speed limit the rest of the way home.

In my experience, the whole "ticket me red" thing is just a myth.
