always find it interesting how pad colors aren't consistent.
for examples, a Rupes blue pad is hard cut, green intermediate cut, yellow fine polish and so on. Lake county goes the other way.

The orange LC pad works great for light scratches and light cutting. Is the LC yellow pad a heavier cutting pad?

My go to's are the white and green, the foam wool on a rotary works amazing for getting rid of wet sanding marks and clearing up cloudy headlights.....

I like the Meguiar's microfiber DMC for cutting. For finishing the Scholl Concepts Neo Spider "Honey" pad, for paints that are average in hardness.
For softer paint, Lake country Hydrotech tangerine for cutting, crimson for finishing. For really hard paint, Carpro Flash pads for cutting, Scholl Concepts Neo Spider "Honey" pad for finishing. For a great 1 step, Carpro Essence with a Meguiar's DMF finishing pad. I use a Rupes 21, or the Flex 3401 if the paint is very hard.
