New Corsa exhaust

Just wondering if anyone on here has tried the new Corsa valved exhaust yet. I am wondering what the decibel level is with the valves closed as compared to the factory NPP with the valves closed.

We're getting ready to add some to our site. The Corsa set up is the biggest difference I've heard so far between open and closed. They advertise a 12 db difference and I'd have to agree. It's significant. Both modes will be louder then stock obviously. With the valves closed its a bit louder then stock closed. Open it's a good deal louder and I'm sure they'll sound epic with long tubes.

Really curious to try this out with my headers / no cats, as AWE mufflers were way too loud. Wondering how the Corsa would fit the bill with valves closed...that price tag though... :(

I have 2" ARH's and no cats as well. Theres a spot around 3 grand with the NPP that is super raspy. I am trying to get rid of that but I don't want to ruin how quiet the crusing volume is. It's literally silent and we take the car on 3 hour trips so that is a huge plus.

1st world problems I guess.......

I would consider adding some resonators and keeping the rest the way it is. I have basically no rasp, using the AWE touring mid-section which has 2 small resonators built in.

Any chance you would be interested in doing a specific set of tests on that exhaust to get some actual numbers? I've got a system I've come up with to record the sound and measure the volume level that will help everyone be able to compare exhausts against one another.

PM me if you might be interested in checking it out and helping with various Camaro exhausts...

If you're open to it, I'll PM you a link to the video I put together about the process I've come up with. Total time to shoot the videos and take the measurements is about 15 minutes or so, but the cold-starts for NPP closed and NPP open have to be spread out by large chunks of time on the clock, obviously.

LMK...

Im looking into these as well. Not fully decided yet. Other than louder noise, any benefits? Currently mine is at stock.
