Rear Reflectors

I haven't checked yet, but how do they come off? I ordered some black ones. Just wondering if they are easy to get out

Well the diagram doesn’t show much more than 2 tabs, so my guess is that it’s a pair of body clips per reflector.

One side has a tab that just snaps in (outside). The inside uses a screw that screws in from the back side of the bumper into the reflector. Really hard to get to without dropping the exhaust down a bit but it is possible. Here is a pic of the passenger side reflector removed

Hope this helps a bit.

Nice, were you able to get both sides out without dropping the exhaust?

Yes, but I think I would drop the exhaust if I had to do it over again. I had the car on a lift and it was still a bear.

Had to remove those on my Z06, almost the same job. A complete bear. I'm good with the Big Worm overlays for now...

I was able to get the screws out without dropping the exhaust; but it took some effort and determination... the openings are really narrow which doesn't leave you much space to work with plus the angle.

Getting the screws on was even tougher (I dropped my screws and washers several times); so I ended up putting double-sided tape to hold them in place.

Since the reflectors are pretty light, the tape should hold them in place, hopefully!

I replaced the phillips head screws with hex head screws which allowed me to get a socket and swivel on for an easier re-install.
