obviously this is the way to go for sure, but where I'm at, noise is a concern. Even being right by the freeway, people still complain. While honestly, they can get over it (neighbors), I don't want to be "that guy"

I'm trying to find that sweet spot. Sure I could just order an 80$ tork foam Cannon but that's cheating for this diy kinda guy.

I think you'd want a smaller aperture for lower pressure/volume units... Or see if you can play with the dilution knob if yours has one.
