Need Your guys help ASAP, Please!!

Im in the middle of my installation and have a few issues, any help would be very appreciated.

I have two 12 inch kicker cvr with dual voice coils rated at 2 ohm and a kicker zx 750.1 amp.

I wired the subs posotive to posotive then jumpered to the terminal strip inside the box, I did the same for the negative, when I put a dvm on it read a little over 1 ohm about 1.3. is this correct? I thought I should get around 4 ohm when I go posotive no negative on the connections on the back of the box.

according to some wiring diagrams I've seen it shows going posotive to negative on one set of coils and then the the terminal strip inside the box of the other set of coils, seemed odd to me to take the posotive to the negative.

Can I ground the amp right off the batter or is that to long, if would be about 4 feet.

Thanks in advance.

Jesse.

Jesse, since your amp only has one mono output, wire each speaker in series then with the pair in parallel.

to get 4 ohms on each woofer you need to series the voice coils.

on each woofer... take the + of one side to the - of the other side then use the remaining + & - to the amp. If you parallel the two subs together your resitance load will be a 2ohm load.

Simply the best wiring diagram I have ever seen...

I know you don't have fosgate, but that won't matter
