That makes a huge difference when you back up - trust me. What else are you hiding?

Can you justify why someone should still get a 12MY when a 13MY is 2 months away?? Will the 13MY cost 3k+ more? What am I missing and what's up with this cr*p? I will certainly have a fit with the dealer, even though I realize they're in the middle. Maybe I'll just change my order...
All valid sir! i wont change my order, but i agree with all you said

It would seem to me that a radio upgrade is not enough for me to drop my order. I am not buying this car because of the radio. I have a great stereo in my Yukon Denali but it won't get-up-and-go like the ZL1. I want to listen to the engine, not the stereo. Look at it this way, you will be able to tell the difference in the model years. The 2012 is now going to be a very limited run car (if only by mistake) that will end up to be more valuable than a 2013. I know some people don't believe that but I do think that down the road (if kept in good condition with low miles) it will be worth more than the 2013. Just my .02.

If I were in many of your shoes - for me - I wouldn't drop my '12 order for a '13 for the radio. I won't be commuting in mine, so I wouldn't need a lot of those features. If it's a option down the road, I probably won't spring for that either. Shoot - I might not even pay for the satelite radio, like I do in my wife's '08 Malibu for the reasons I already posted.

I think I'm along similar lines to you - I don't enjoy a car like ZL1 for the ammenities - I enjoy the car for it's performance

Been here following all the ZL1 updates as an interested outsider, but I have to say I think I'm in love with the 1LE. Guess I just love NA motors.

When comparing the track performance between the 1LE and the ZL1, don't forget to figure in the difference in th erear end ratio and the individual gear ratios. I'm not sure about the individual gear ratios, but the 1LE does come with a 3.91 rear end.

The nav that is going in the 13 2LT, 2SS, ZL1 is not the same nav as the Vette, or the Tahoe, etc...it's the same one used in the 2013 Malibu ECO. It's made by LG or something like that. It's awesome. It will stream Pandora from your phone, give you voice control over all media and lots more.

I doubt the 1LE will be competition unless the give it some serious weight reduction and handling goodies.

No weight reduction, but some serious handling goodies. I bet this car is a blast to drive on the track.

Damn that things gonna be fast LOL! I bet the ZL1 will still edge it out, but this will be a great buy for the serious racer. But its still missing the MG shocks that will be much better for the weekend warrior.

If that sub 3seconds hold up that is awsome. Sometimes it is about the combination that is for sure.

I will be interensted to see in the acceleration numbers. maybe with a heavy car that deeper 3.91 gear helps quite a bit.

I will love to see this test head to head with the LS same day. they went progressive rate on the springs which is good wonder how the car drives with no suspension ajustment.

if it is gettin that kind of number with the stock power level the suspension is working well. VIR could have been where they tuned that combination though. LS is where they tuned the boss 302 LS. Be interesting if the 1LE could go there and lap better then that is awesome for fixed suspension car.

Man, I'm not happy either. I'll think I will wait for the 8 track option!
