- 25,000 miles hit. What should I be checking/have done?

2010 V6 LLT, RS pack.

Up until now, I've only done regular oil changes between 3,500-4,500 miles, and I replaced my air filter at 20,000.

What else should I be planning on doing or having checked out?

I know the Pirellis are probably soon to go, arent they rated at 20k?

In any case, any help would be appreciated before I head into the dealership.

The car does feel strangely rough, and I don't like it.

I'm a little curious as well, I've reached 21k and it's getting rough in the ride

doesn't it give a scheduled maintenance plan in the owners manual?

Good job on the oil change intervals! There's a lot of people who go longer than that.

I wouldn't follow the scheduled maintenance, unless its just a car to you.

I'd say, check your cabin air filter (its probably still good though, maybe hit it against a wall lightly to knock some of the debris out).

I'd also say change your rear diff fluid, or do so in the next 5k or so.

Do you use quality fuel? There is a difference, using cheap/crap fuel can give you idle quality and performance issues, regardless of the octane level.
If you do use cheap fuel, I'd recommend getting a fuel system cleaning performed, may help with your rough idle.

Do you have a catch can? If not, get one now, and then get an upper end/combustion chamber cleaning and service.
A LOT of contaminated oil goes through the PCV system, and deposits in your intake, heads, and valves, causing numerous problems with idle and performance down the line.

I've seen several cars actually misfire (CEL and all) with less miles than you have, due to carbon buildup from crap gas and ingesting oil from the PCV system.

That should be about it, IMO.

I have a little over 51K and the tires lasted all the way to 45K+. I guess that would depend on your driving habits but most of my miles are highway driven. If you bought your car from a dealer they usually email your or probably gave u a maintenace book with coupons for having them do a transmission flush or fuel system clean, etc... I wouldnt necessarily use them if you know how to properly maintain your own vehicle. But it never hurts in any case to have them checked out.
