Officially Unemployed, Need ZL1 Work
Well, today was my last day as a police officer after 31 years on the job. It has been a good career but the time has come to start a new chapter. Since I now have a lot of time on my hands I am available to help Chevy test the ZL1. I figure they are in the final phase of testing and there is no better place to test the ZL1 in a high humidity, hurricane prone area than South Florida. South Beach would be a good area to test the ZL1 in a bright sunshine and concentrated SPF 75 local. So if Chevy needs further testing, I will be glad to assist. Just send me a PM.

Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your dedication and service! I don't think Chevy is going to go for your offer, but hopefully the time will pass smoothly until you take delivery of your ZL1!

MMM I think you'll need to move to Yuma Arizona, that's where GM does their vehicle testing for a lot of stuff. Are you willing to work in some insane heat?

OldJedi, you don't want to test cars in Fl for a retirement job. You want to be a bikini judge on the beach.

Thanks for all of the nice words everyone. I might not get the job but i know I won't get it for sure if I don't apply. I spent some time in Arizona and went from a prune to a raisin in a week. I will stay in my high humidity, wet environment. I told my wife that I was going to get a job at Victoria Secrets as a bra and thong adjuster but she nixed the idea fairly quickly, so I am sure the bikini judge job would follow suit, unless if it was at Century Village. However, if GM does call, Hozay you got the photo gig for sure.

Huge Congratulations for Ya, Sir. I recall your story about how you had accumulated the maximum amount of leave & sick time so basically the cash for that highly commendable dedication of yours is actually going to pay for your ZL1. I love poetic justice, and I can think of few things more befitting than for your lifetime of service to be rewarded with something that will bring you joy for a very long time. If Ya wind up getting the bikini inspector job, you may need to get a cloth seat cover for that passenger seat, because surely some of them will notice your car & Ya might be so generous as to give 'em a ride. Again, way to go, Master Jedi. .
