Removing Rust from Brake Rotors?

Well, the humidity here in Miami has played merry hob on my Camaro's brake rotors, leaving them a wonderful shade of yellow following some torrential rainfall lately. What's the best way to get rid of that?

That's what I just read, lol, and along with realizing that I haven't driven it in two days , and that I put this in the wrong forum.

Well, now that you know -- I just threw this into the maintinence tech section.

The rotors will even do that after a simple wash!

Yeah, it seems like rotors can pick up surface rust almost overnight when humidity is high, but it rubs right off when you apply the brakes. There's really nothing you can do about it because it occurs on the contact area of the rotors.

Most rotors will form rust immediately upon contact with water.
You can avoid the rust by converting to carbon ceramic rotors like on the ZR-1. (of course, then you have to worry about chipping them everytime you take a wheel off:()
