It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Go read up on it and educate yourself. Wow, that "sluggish" comment must have really bothered you.Lol Well, at least your car is still considered a Camaro. There are some numbnuts on here who think the only true "Camaros" are V8's. |

[QUOTE=gringo;10518547]Why am I arguing about brakes in a wheel thread? Because I was called out for my "logic" being flawed when, in fact, it was anything but.

It depends on the rim style and those are known for chrome not black therefore I think the chrome was a better look as well.

I’ve always wanted to like black wheels but 99.9% of the time to me they make the car look like it has cheap base steel wheels. Every now and then with the right styling I see one that works. I dunno, just how I feel. I went with gunmetal m017’s and think they look great..

So I’ve been reading this thread and looking at the pics. (Damn you guys have some nice looking cars)!
My black 2014 SS still has the stock RS “midnight silver” rims and no other appearance mods yet. Reading/seeing all of this is making me more undecided now! Since I haven’t touched the car yet I have a clean slate to begin. Chrome wheel guys - is it tough to keep clean? I like the chrome wheels with the black muscle appearance but I’m not looking for more upkeep. Black 1LE rims look awesome with the complete GM package (hood, spoiler, red brakes, splitter). I could slowly add those parts. At the risk of getting 100 different opinions, is there any consensus about which way to go on a black 2014 SS? Bronze? Gunmetal? Stay factory? ....Geez I’m aweful at this! |
